During the month of December on Hrísey the hours of light continued to decrease. It is a time of approaching the longest night and the shortest day, a period of reduction, transition, realigning and inviting the light for the next step.

As I am writing this, we are approaching the moment of solstice, the turn in the darkness, when the circle of light starts again.
